Two felons from Nashville were arrested by Mt. Juliet Police Monday after a stolen car was detected by license plate readers.
A Nissan Sentra, reported stolen from Nashville, was detected by LPRs as it entered the city via Lebanon Road. Officers monitored the Nissan from a distance before moving in to surround the vehicle when it turned into a parking lot.
Both occupants, Robert Giammona, 43, of Nashville, and Tiffany Hickman, 39, also of Nashville were taken into custody. MJPD said both were wanted out of multiple counties, with Giammona wanted out of Wilson County for probation violation related to meth and falsifying a license plate, and Hickman wanted out of Wilson County for a probation violation.
Police said both suspects were in possession of meth, believed to be for resale, a handgun and multiple IDs belonging to other people.
MJPD said detectives are continuing to investigate potential stolen property found in the Nissan. Metro Nashville Police Department Bicentennial Celebration badges were found in the vehicle.

Giammona was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of a firearm while committing of a felony and two counts of probation violation. He’s being held in the Wilson County Jail on a $25,500 bond.
Hickman was charged with theft of property, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of probation violation. She’s being held in the Wilson County Jail on an $18,000 bond.
