Baker N. “Buzz” Black, 74, of Westmoreland, Tennessee, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025.
Buzz was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Gallatin, Tennessee, to the late William and Elizabeth Black.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary East Black.
He is survived by his siblings, Phyllis Morton and William L. Black Jr.; aunt, Celia Black; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless friends.
A lifelong resident of Sumner County, Tennessee, Buzz was a beloved member of the community. He was a friend to all he met. Whether you gave him a ride somewhere or you were privileged to be one of his weekly or daily visits, Buzz was truly loved by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 28, 2025, at noon from the Gallatin First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be held Friday from 4–7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services. All visitation will be held in the Ramsey Hall at GFUMC.
