The execution of a search warrant in Red Boiling Springs has resulted in multiple arrests and drug seizures, according to authorities.
Police say officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Red Boiling Springs at approximately 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3, resulting in the seizure of multiple illegal narcotics and the arrest of four individuals.
During the search, officers allegedly located approximately 20 grams of methamphetamine, a large quantity of fentanyl, a large amount of marijuana, and a small amount of ecstasy. In addition to the narcotics, officers recovered items of drug paraphernalia consistent with the distribution of controlled substances.
Four individuals taken into custody at the scene — Tyler Naples, Jesse Davis, Aaron Jones and Damian Saucedo — have been charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule II drug for resale, possession of a Schedule VI drug for resale and criminal conspiracy.
Authorities say the case remains under investigation, and additional charges may be pending. Law enforcement officials emphasized that the seizure represents an important step in keeping dangerous drugs, particularly fentanyl, off the streets and out of the community. No further information will be released at this time.
RBS Police Chief Jeffery Maynard offered thanks for the hard work and dedication of Assistant Chief Marty Cothron, Officer Josh Wix and Lieutenant Justin Rice. Chief Maynard also thanked the Macon County Sheriff’s office who assisted with the investigation and serving the search warrant.
“My guys have done a great job,†said Maynard. “Anytime meth and fentanyl are present, it’s a good day when we can get that stuff off the streets. Approximately 40 grams (1.4 ounces) of fentanyl is a large amount. Anytime it’s close to a school I will do anything within my legal power to charge with possession of drugs in a drug-free school zone. This time, we couldn’t due to it being about 45 feet too far away.â€
