A busy Thursday afternoon for Mt. Juliet Police resulted in the arrest of four individuals wanted in other jurisdictions in four separate interactions.
It started during the afternoon of Nov. 13 when an officer pulled a vehicle over for running a red light on Mt. Juliet Road near Interstate 40. During the stop, MJPD identified a 39-year-old Smyrna man wanted out of Rutherford County for felony theft of a vehicle.
Later on, another officer conducted a traffic stop on Pleasant Grove Road for a vehicle displaying a false temporary tag. The driver, a 27-year-old Memphis woman, was reportedly wanted out of Nashville for two counts of felony aggravated assault.
Only a short time later, MJPD was given a tip regarding a man wanted for violent offenses working at Amazon. An apprehension plan was implemented and the suspect, a 42-year-old Murfreesboro man, who was wanted out of Nashville for felony aggravated assault by strangulation and domestic assault with bodily injury, was arrested.
After MJPD released statements regarding the three arrests, a fourth person was arrested when a vehicle was stopped on South Mt. Juliet Road for improper display of a license plate. The driver, a 22-year-old LaVergne man, was wanted out of Nashville for felony aggravated assault by strangulation and vandalism.
“And then there were four,†MJPD said after updating the press release. The identities of the suspects were not immediately released.
