Lebanon Police DepartmentPortions of Interstate 40 were shut down at the Sparta Pike exit near mile marker 239 Monday morning after a seven-vehicle crash.
The crash impacted the westbound lanes, causing traffic to back up for miles as crews worked to clean the scene.
Lebanon Police said only minor injuries have been reported in the crash. By 8:50 a.m., one of the westbound lanes was opened to allow traffic to start flowing. By 9:30, all lanes were reopened.
