A ribbon cutting has now been held at the newly rebranded QXO facility in Lebanon.
Formerly known as Beacon Building Products, the revamped business held a ribbon cutting ceremony last Thursday, hosted by the Lebanon Wilson County Chamber of Commerce at the location at 312 Babb Dr.
QXO specializes in supporting the supply chain of roofing materials for contractors, distributors and suppliers. The company plans to use technology to become a leader in the roofing industry.
At the end of April, QXO completed its $11 billion acquisition of Beacon, making it the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing materials in the country.
Beacon, founded in 1928, had multiple branch locations across the U.S., which now gives QXO, founded in 2002, access to a network of employees to gain an advantage in the industry.
“Congratulations to QXO on this exciting new chapter and continued commitment to excellence in the building materials industry,†the Chamber said in a release.
