An early morning check on a vehicle in the Roxy Theater parking lot led to the reported discovery of multiple narcotics Tuesday.
According to Lebanon Police, an officer conducting patrols at businesses around Legends Drive observed a white vehicle parked in the Roxy Theater parking lot “well before business hours.†The officer made contact with two individuals inside the vehicle and reportedly noticed a strong alcohol odor coming from the vehicle.
LPD says alcohol bottles and drug paraphernalia were in plain view, leading to a probable cause search of the vehicle during which large quantities of illegal drugs were reportedly found, including amphetamines, morphine pills, fentanyl, marijuana, THC gummies, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (commonly referred to as ecstasy) and 30 capsules of an “unknown substance.â€
Additionally, officers say synthetic urine and a loaded handgun were inside the vehicle.
The individuals, Christian Bowlin, 31, of Watertown, and Marisa Cleghorn, 22, of Lebanon, were arrested without incident. They were booked into the Wilson County Jail and are being held on $50,000 bonds each.
LPD says additional drug charges may be filed pending laboratory analysis of the unknown capsules from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Bowlin and Cleghorn were charged with:
- Possession of a weapon while under the influence
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
- Simple drug possession x2
- Possession of a Schedule I drug x2
- Possession of a Schedule II drug
- Possession of a Schedule VI drug for resale
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Falsified drug test
