Funeral services for Mr. Billy Brummett will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Hope Baptist Church in Lebanon with Bro. Will McReynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Leeville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, Oct. 9 from 4:30-7 p.m. and Friday at Hope Baptist Church from noon until the time of services.
Mr. Brummett, 85, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, at his home.
Born Aug. 26, 1940, in Wilson County, Tennessee, and he is the son of the late Will and Madie Lackey Brummett.
He retired from Dupont and was an elder at Hope Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother; sister, Earline Bass; and a brother, Alfred Brummett.
He is survived by his wife of over 66 years, Eunice Ann Lain Brummett; two sons, Kent (Angela) Brummett and Kevin (Karen) Brummett; five grandchildren, Katy (Daniel) Jones, Christian (Rowan) Brummett, Michael Eli Brummett, Jessica Ambuehl and Dannielle Davis; great-grandchildren, Avonlea, Kirklin, Finley and Cambria Jones, Mercy, Dante, Jaden, Isaiah, Ameliana, Sebastan and Nehemiah Brummett, Jordan and Chris Ambuehl and Myles Sabbatini; and great-great-grandchild, Jeremiah Ambuehl.
Memorials may be made to Hope Baptist Church.
