The Satterfield Middle School football team started its 2025 season with a 44-6 win at Wilson County on Aug. 7. The Jr. Jackets ran out to a 30-6 lead at halftime and coasted to an easy victory.

“I thought our guys played hard for all four quarters, and I couldn’t ask for much more than that,†SMS Coach Carson Hackett said. “We made a few little mistakes here and there that we need to clean up, but overall I was proud of the way our guys played. Glad to get that win under our belt and keep it rolling throughout the season.â€
