The Hartsville Backpack Program for families with children food distribution will take place on Thursday, March 5, from 5-7 p.m. at 250 W. McMurry Blvd.

The Parks & Recreation Committee will meet in the Hartsville-Trousdale County Courthouse, 200 E. Main St., for their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 5 at 6 p.m.

The Volunteer Fire Department will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at 219 Broadway.

Monty Fritts, a Tennessee candidate for Governor, will be at Grace Baptist Church, 550 McMurry Blvd. E., Hartsville, on Thursday, March 5 to meet constituents. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Public Works Committee will meet for their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Hartsville-Trousdale County Courthouse, 200 E. Main.

Blue Roan+Co. and R & M Décor on Main will host a Grand- Reopening event on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The store is located at 109 E. Main St.

The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet in the Hartsville-Trousdale County Courthouse, 200 E. Main St., for their regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m.

The Planning Commission will meet in the Hartsville-Trousdale County Courthouse, 200 E. Main St., for their regular monthly meeting on Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m.

The Audit Committee will meet in the Mayor’s Office, 328 Broadway, to review the FY 2025 Audit Report on Tuesday, March 10 at 5 p.m.

The Hartsville-Trousdale County Chamber of Commerce meeting will meet on Tuesday, March 10 at 6 p.m. at the Hartsville-Trousdale County Community Center, 301 E. Main St. Please note the time change. The last month of each month, the chamber will host an evening meeting.

The Election Commission will meet for their regular monthly meeting in the Election Office, 200 E. Main St., on Tuesday, March 10 at 6 p.m.

The Codes and Zoning Committee will meet in the County Mayor’s Office, 328 Broadway, to review changes to the proposed zoning regulation document on Tuesday, March 12 at 6 p.m.

The Trousdale County Historical Society will meet on Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. Meetings are being held at the Archives located behind the Administration Building at 328 Broadway. Special musical guests: Kevin Doyle and Clayton Miller. The meeting is open to the public.

There will be a public meeting on Monday, March 16 at 5 p.m. to review the application for the Local Parks and Recreation (LPRF) grant program. The meeting will be held at the Trousdale County Courthouse, 200 E. Main St.

A spring break opportunity for students in 4th through 8th grade is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for a hands-on day of mixing, kneading and baking we students learn the basics of homemade bread and more. Registration is open for the Trousdale County High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Super Saturday Car Show on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the high school, 262 West McMurry Blvd. Multiple car and truck show categories are available. Visit the FBLA Super Saturday Car Show Facebook page to register. Vendors, food trucks and live entertainment are also part of the line up for family fun. Proceeds from event benefit FBLA students with the costs associated to attend state and national competitions.
