Cumberland cross country is set for a competitive 2025 campaign, featuring a slate of top-tier invitationals leading into postseason competition.
The Phoenix will open the season Sept. 5, at the Twilight Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan in Marion, Ind. Two weeks later, Cumberland travels to Midway, Ky., for the Midway University XC Invitational on Sept. 19.
October features a strong mid-season stretch, beginning with the prestigious "Live in Lou" Louisville XC Classic on Oct. 4, followed by the Ray Bullock Invitational hosted by Taylor University in Upland, Ind., on Oct. 10. The Phoenix close out the regular season Oct. 25 at the Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Mich., hosted by Aquinas College.
Postseason racing begins with the Mid-South Conference Championships in Bowling Green, Ky., on Nov. 7. Qualifiers will then advance to the NAIA National Championships in Tallahassee, Fla., set for Nov. 21.
