Mt. Juliet Police briefly searched for a missing teenager Wednesday, saying there were concerns he may not have been able to return home safely.
On Wednesday, March 18, at 3:28 p.m., an MJAlert notification was released by MJPD regarding a 14-year-old male last seen leaving his Oxford Drive home on foot. Police did not immediately elaborate on why there are concerns regarding his safety.
At 4:45 p.m., MJPD announced the teen was found unharmed in a nearby wooded area.
Police described the teen as white, 5’6â€, approximately 100 pounds and had been last seen wearing a gray coat with a lime-green zipper, blue jeans and blue Nike shoes.
He was reportedly last seen running toward the Kelsey Glen common area before officers located him.
No further details were immediately released.
