Historic Granville’s 2025 Christmas “A Storybook Christmas†will be held Dec. 13 with a full day of activities for all ages.
The day will begin with Breakfast with Santa from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Granville Event Center. As you visit with Santa and Mrs. Santa you will have photo opportunities and breakfast, which will include Prancers Pancakes with Bacon, HO HO Hot Chocolate, Grinch Punch followed by festive Christmas Crafts and activities. Enjoy a special visit with the Grinch. Reservations are required. Admission for adults is $12, and admission for children ages 6-12 is $5. Admission is free for children younger than 6. Family tickets are available for parents and children for $25.

Country Christmas will feature Holiday Magic for Children from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. with A Storybook Christmas activities for Children at Event Center. This will include glitter tattoos, stories for children, making Christmas Ornaments, games and songs. Roger the Christmas Clown will perform at 12:30 and 2 p.m.
The Granville Christmas Parade will be at 3 p.m. followed by visits with Santa in front of Granville Gift Shop. A special feature during the Christmas season is “The Hunt for the Gingerbread Boy†as children look for him in the 10 venues in Granville. Children will go to the 10 venues of Granville in their Search for the Gingerbread Man and collect stickers at each location.
Granville Country Christmas will feature three Christmas Musicals at Granville United Methodist Church. The concerts will be at 11 a.m. with Rylee Barry doing “Christmas Classics.†At noon, the Granville United Methodist Choir will perform a musical entitled “Christmas Traditions,†and at 1:30 p.m. the Cumberland University Singers will perform “Songs of the Season.â€
The Festival of Trees at the Granville Museum features 20 beautiful decorated trees with the theme of A Storybook Christmas. The Historic Sutton Home features a different Storybook of Christmas tree in each room with a guided tour. The Pioneer Village features an Antique Toy Show, artisans demonstrating their talents and selling their handmade items, Pioneer Cabin offering free hot cider by the fire and a Christmas Step Back in Time. The Artisans Workshop and Gallery features a Gingerbread and Christmas Village display. The Tennessee Quilt Museum is featuring a beautiful Christmas Quilt Display.
Granville’s 10 venues will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring a special Christmas Visit of the Mayberry Lucy Museum, Granville Decanter Museum, Whistle Stop Saloon, Barber Shop Museum, Artisan Gallery at Sutton’s Store, Granville Museum, Farm to Table Museum, Tennessee Quilt Museum, Historic Sutton Home, Pioneer Village, Artisans Workshop & Gallery and Granville Broom Shop. Historic Granville shops are a unique place to do your Christmas Shopping as well. Sutton’s General Store will be serving a Christmas menu.
You can conclude your day with the Sutton Ole Time Bluegrass Dinner Show featuring The Tenos Family Band. Reservations are required.
A Christmas Characters drive-thru parade will be held in the evening. Admission to the Dec. 13 festival is $7, and admission is free for children under age 12. Daily admission is also $7. For more information, visit or call 931-653-4151.
