She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Tomlinson Ashley, 95, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away at her home Thursday, March 20, 2025.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Born March 11, 1930, in Wilson County, Tennessee, she is the daughter of the late Virgil G. and Thelma Inez Wilkerson Tomlinson.
She was born in the Saulsbury community and raised in Lebanon, graduating from Lebanon High School. She was a homemaker, a prolific artist working with oil and acrylic and an award winning quilter.
She was an active member of Westland United Methodist Church, and was a part of the Carroll Oakland Home Extension Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, of 70 years, James Earl Ashley Oct. 2, 2020; and two brothers, Raymond L. Tomlinson and Charles G. Tomlinson.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jim Gundy and Janis and David Feit; three granddaughters, Hayley (Chris) Cunningham, Lindsay (Drew) Landolt and Andrea (Josh) McCauley; five great-grandchildren, Lily and Emma Landolt, Asher, Madeleine and Beckett Cunningham; and several nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Westland United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Norton officiating. There will be a light lunch served prior to the service at noon.
