The Satterfield Middle School football team played its first home game on Aug. 21 against Westmoreland, unfortunately it turned out to be a 28-16 loss. It was the first regular season loss for the Jr. Jackets (1-1) in three years.
“We struggled executing against a good football team in Westmoreland.†SMS Coach Carson Hackett said. “It’s still early in the season with plenty of opportunities to grow and improve.â€
