Macon's Rice medals at Spring Fling
Macon County’s Malachi Rice turns loose the discus on the last of his four throws during the May 21 Class AA boys’ state track-and-field meet at Middle Tennessee State’s Dean Hayes Stadium in Murfreesboro. Rice’s first throw turned out to be his best, good for 129-0 and a seventh-place finish.
