Lebanon's Stafford commits to UIndy football

Lebanon defensive end Jujuan Stafford (9, bringing down Green Hill quarterback Kannon Burroughs) announced his commitment to play football for the University of Indianapolis on his X account Sunday. He follows former Blue Devil brothers Anthony and Key Crowell (Key transferred to FBS East Carolina after his freshman season) to the NCAA Division II power where former Green Hill wide receiver Kaleb Carver has also emerged as a Greyhound standout. Stafford was named Region 4-6A Defensive Player of the Year after 82 tackles, 36 solo, 19 for loss and eight sacks. As a blocking tight end in short-yardage and goal-line situations, he caught three passes 鈥 all for touchdowns 鈥 for 55 yards.
