Lebanon Police have released details on five individuals arrested during three separate incidents between Thursday and Monday.
On Nov. 6, LPD officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Ram for a registration violation, and the driver was allegedly driving on a suspended license.
Additionally, police said the driver, Scott King, 50, had a nationwide extradition warrant out of Pennsylvania for failure to appear on weapon-related charges. Police also said King was allegedly in possession of fentanyl.
King was arrested without incident and booked into the Wilson County Jail, awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania. Local charges are also pending against Scott including two counts of drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, altering of a temporary tag, driving on a suspended license and being a fugitive from justice.
As of print, King is still being held in the county jail.
On Saturday, Nov. 8, LPD discovered nearly 55 grams of what is believed to be methamphetamine during a traffic stop.
Officers initiated the stop for a light law violation, and during the stop, the driver was reportedly found to be driving on a revoked license.
The driver, Robert Ringwald, 48, of Cookeville was arrested after a search of the vechicle yielding methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Ringwald was booked into the Wilson County Jail, charged with driving while possessing methamphetamine, driving on a revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
On Monday, license plate readers alerted officers to a stolen vehicle. After several minutes, the vehicle was located. Officers detained one suspect, Nicholas Booher, 27, of Byrdstown. According to police, Booher had multiple outstanding warrants from across the state.
Two passengers, 25-year-old Jessie Murphy, of Baxter, and 23-year-old Matthew Degroat, of Cookeville, were also detained.
Booher was charged with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, two theft charges and using stolen plates. Murphy and Degroat were charged with possession of methamphetamine.
