The Community Pregnancy Center (CPC) in Hartsville is a nonprofit organization that provides free and confidential support services to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.
Some of the key services offered by the center include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, support and educational classes such as life skills, relationships and parenting for both men and women.
The CPC is a nonprofit primarily funded by private donations, corporate contributions and local fundraisers.
A Fall Festival and Chili Cook-Off was held in downtown Hartsville on Saturday, Nov. 1, to benefit the center. Festival attendees enjoyed sampling delicious chilis and baked goods, shopping with vendors, live music, an auction, a cake walk and more.
The Friends of CPC Hartsville thanks the sponsors, volunteers, donors and community for coming out to our Annual Fall Festival Chili Cook-off.
Mark your calendars and plan to participate in the 2025 Linda Carman Memorial 5K in Hartsville on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8 a.m. The 5K fundraiser benefits the CPC. The race will include both a run and a walk with both men and women’s divisions for awards across several age categories. After the race, there will be a free Fun Run around Trey Park for kids age 12 and under.
Registration closes the day of the race. However, to receive a T-shirt, registration must be completed by Wednesday, Nov. 20.
